St. James School, Hardoi was established in 1986. The foundation stone was blessed on 24th January 1987 by Very Rev. Fr. Anthony D'Souza V.G and laid by Mr. R. S. Srivastava, D.M. Hardoi. The building was blessed on 25th July 1987 by Rt. Rev. Dr. Alan De Lastic, Bishop of Lucknow through the generous contribution by the people of Hardoi.

St. James School started its journey in its own building with very few class rooms. Now after 36 years, It is spread in 16130 sq. meters with sixty airy class rooms, four staff rooms, six labs, one library, one music room, one craft room, one counseling room, one P. T. I. room and one examination room. There is a happy room for the refreshment of teachers. Ten water purifier are available to fulfill the need of drinking water. The school has ramps facility too for students. There are seven staircases for easy departure of students after the school. Two first aid rooms are available with all necessary facilities and qualified nurse. There are separate 32-32 toilets for boys and girls. The area of school playground is 6050 sq. meters. School has a big auditorium too. Entire school building is equipped with approx. 150 CCTV cameras, ERP facility, smart classes and approved fire safety system.
