Examinations Rules

CBSE Board has introduced Comprehensive and Continuous
Evaluation system as a new method for evaluating the performance
of the students. Accordingly, in the academic session there will
be two terms (April to September and October to March). In April
to September there will be two formative assessments/unit tests
and main written examination. In October to March there will be
two formative assessments/unit tests and final examination.
Hence there will be main two written examination and 4 formative
assessments/unit tests for Class I-XI. It is compulsory for the
students to appear for the formative/unit tests and written
examination because the performance of the student is evaluated
throughout the year.

No leave, other than medical leave, is normally sanctioned
during the Terminal/unit Tests. Application for medical leave
should be duly supported by a medical certificate from a
Registered M.B.B.S. Doctor and submitted to the Principal.

The Medical certificate should be submitted before the close of
the examination so that appropriate entries may be made in the
School records. Medical Certificate will not be accepted after
the last day of the examination.

If a student remains absent for any of the
Tests/Examinations/Evaluations on medical ground with the
permission of the Principal, promotion to next class may be
granted based n the student’s year’s performance.

Any other leave applied for and taken during the examination
will be at the risk of the parents and will not be taken into
consideration determining promotion.

Examination shall not be anticipated or postponed for individual
students for any reason whatsoever.

Candidates will be disqualified, if they are detected in giving
or obtaining or attempting to give or obtain unfair assistance
at the examinations, or are found to have in their possession
while in the examination hall any book , notes or incriminating
material. They should have the correct question paper and answer
paper supplied in the examination hall. All unused answer sheets
should be submitted to the staff invigilator.

On examination days, no servant, parent, guardian is permitted
to enter the Examination Hall/room on any excuse. Examinees will
not be permitted to leave the Examination Hall unit the paper is
submitted to the Staff invigilator.
