"Educating the mind without educating the heart is no education at all!”. The above words of 'Aristotle' imply the importance of education with values. The objective of education is enlightenment. Enlightenment can be achieved only by educating both the mind as well as the heart.
Educating the heart refers to the importance of not only focusing on developing the cognitive aspects (our minds) but also all the qualities that make us human (our hearts) and ultimately give us meaning in our lives.
The ultimate purpose of education, then, is turning towards God, and the way to God is to look into oneself. The holistic growth both educating mind and heart leads to understand oneself which in turn results in a continual behavioural modification enabling the facets of happiness and success.
